Mission Statement

 

Northside Baptist Christian School offers parents a tool in providing students ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE with a BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW leading them to learn and apply the truth of God’s Word in their lives.

 

Philosophy Statement

 

We incorporate our Christian faith into our entire curriculum and give students the tools to learn and think for themselves. We strive to operate as an extension of the family under the Biblical principle that education is primarily the responsibility of the family. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Ephesians 6:1-4)

 

We lead students to love God with all of their heart, soul, mind and strength. We, as Christian leaders, will guide students by our own example of living out faith in our families, the local church, community and world.

 

SCHOOL/CHURCH RELATIONSHIP

 

The Northside Baptist Christian School is one of many ministries of the Northside Baptist Church.  It is not separate from the church.  The church, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, is the sole steward and overseer of the properties, operation, program, and personnel of the school.  Separation of church and state is maintained.  No outside influences may govern the school’s intended purposes, objectives, and policies.  (Proverbs 22:6, II Timothy 2:15, Acts 5:42)

 

The pastor, principal, and school board are elected and appointed by the church.  They are, under God, responsible to the church.  The pastor of the church is also the superintendent of the school and he is the chief officer of the school and all the other ministries of this church.
